Criminology GRE Waiver Request

All applicants applying to the College of Criminology and Criminal Justice PhD program must submit a valid GRE general exam result or qualify for a GRE Waiver. To be considered for a GRE Waiver, you must complete the form below and submit the requested supporting documentation through the Document Upload section below.
Note: Applicants with a competitive GRE score will still be able to apply to the program and will not be held to these additional criteria.

Please Note - The GRE has automatically been waived for master's applicants. Please do not complete this form if you are a master's applicant. All you need to do is submit a graduate application and the GRE requirement will automatically be waived.

To be considered for a waiver from the College of Criminology and Criminal Justice for the PhD program application, please submit transcripts and any relevant additional supplementary materials.

Applicants will be contacted via email with a decision on the waiver request after department review. Approval of the GRE Waiver Request does not guarantee admission to the programProspective students must still submit and complete a Graduate Application and meet all university and department admissions requirements to be considered for admission.
